Harman Kardon rear deck speaker bad

Hey guys - sorry if this is a searchable answer, I’m on my iPhone and having trouble finding an answer here.

2014 E350 4-matic sedan

Rear deck speaker on passenger side sounds like it’s got a short in it now, primarily on the tweeter side (notice it on certain classical and jazz songs). I’ve got the HK sound setup in the car. Can’t seem to find a suitable replacement for it, and don’t know a part number to search it up on. Not even sure what size - crutchfield has zero info on it as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Not looking to redo the stereo, just fix that one bad speaker (or if I need to, both as a pair back there). Don’t really want to mess up the tunes balance of the factory set up if possible (I like it).

Thanks!

Thanks konigstiker! Any difference between a pre/pro facelift version of the car, say 2013 compared to 2014?

Thought I’d come back to this one. Finally got the car to shop to fix 2 bent rims (from June hit in Indiana), have a service done, and a couple of other minor issues. I mentioned the speaker (I’m at 43k miles now). They confirmed its gone bad, and was happy to hear my CPO warranty will cover it! I didn’t think the CPO would cover a speaker, but it did for mine. Warranty expires in March 2019.

Hi, just wanted to share the same about the blown speaker. Went in to the dealership today to fix my rear passenger speaker too on my HK system (2014 E550). Covered by CPO, had to wait for the speaker to be ordered. Glad to hear no buzz on bass anymore. Work order says they needed to remove rear seats (bottom and back) because I don't have split folding. FYI for those out of warranty.
