E300 w212 2014 audio CD navigation system down
I have owned a brand new E300 W212 2014 model from the official agent of MB in Saudi Arabia which was under 3 years warranty with service ending in December 2017. Soon after in February 2018 the whole Audio/CD/Navigation/Phone system and screen suddenly went off. I have not made any changes in any of the original systems in the car. The agent is refusing to consider fixing the system under warranty and initial checks indicated that the whole Audio/CD Navigation unit is malfunctioning and needs a complete replacement!!!
Any advise is highly appreciated.

My wife told me mine did the same thing today .. She was blaming it on the heat , as the cabin was extremely hot . But I find that to b quite ridiculous if that was the case

Tried pressing on bottom for long time still no response
many thanks did try to press the on bottom on audio system for times longer than a minute while engine is on but still no response !!!

Heat to damage audio cd nav system !!!
I don’t think heat could be a problem as here in the very extreme hot weather in Saudi it would have been a common problem. Besides I have always kept car garaged away from long periods of sun heat.
