Invalid Disc. Please Check The Disc.

I’ve never encountered this issue before, I’ve had cd’s in the changer since I had the car, drove yesterday listened to one of the disc, came home parked for about an hour or so went back out and that warning appeared on the display, can’t do anything at all. it’s like it shuts off after a minute or so and turns on the message appears again before I can attempt to see if I can eject the disc

Have you tried connecting a good scanner to read available faults and reset failed units?
This message is unusual.
Your COMAND may need repairs from a MB specialist to code new unit.
If you deal with this yourself then you can ship it to an Internet shop for more cost effective repairs.

Does this happen to all discs or just the one?
try ejecting it and cleaning the cd surface, and out it back in. Otherwise maybe just that disc is at fault, if others are working without issues

I checked the fuses, I disconnected the battery over night still same problem, it doesn’t allow you to eject the disc or anything

Disc players always seem to operate just fine until the day they suddenly don't. Maybe time to call Crutchfield and see what they have to fit your vehicle.
