Calling all patrons of MB W212 and siblings... the silent wize and other smart worldly spirits.
Calling all the heavens to release our uncontested worldclass Master : @S-Prihadi ... away from the real geek nuts
Let's gather information and links to SOLUTIONS for the thousands of problems MB thought would entertain AI later.
Are you smarter than AI...?
Not 100% everything will get listed here but a good cross cut can be understood from participants.
My inspirations are networked electronic controls designed to be powerful devices - Cars only introductory material.
The controls we think we have are only limited by our own intelligence: "Apolo 13" - Air scruber canisters fixed long distance over the air... take your time !

RULE #1: This timeout lounge is NOT for fixing your car.
RULE #2: Here you want to open one single post to links that are essentials and whish you had. Lots of awesome contributors have top rated info. This is where they should be, easy to locate by INDEX.
RULE #3: You get out what you put in because... this is what you're made of - Rules are open to get updated as needed.
We come from many different backgrounds with a commun interest for these greatly computerized vehicles.
As soon as we carve rules they begin to evolve...

The amazing GND...
The PERFECT junction...
The VICTIM ... to replace!
Germans design awesome transportation systems.
Let us play a game...
Anything odd-looking: CONTRAST ?
From couple things you'll recognize having seen earlier with us:
What do painted GND, soldered CRIMPS and solderless MODULES have in common ?
Unreliable shared GND connection
Best possible connection soldered
Bosch questionable internal junctions
> What does the above design accomplish?
The poor GND post creates power glitches through all the shared circuits meeting at one spot.
A1-- The carefully crimped & soldered connection is so electrically perfect it is guaranteed to pass all the glitches down without a possibility to ever fail.
B2-- The electronic module is built with weak undersized unreliable connections both externally and internally.
C3-- There is an abnormally large contrast gradient in quality that concentrates engineered weaknesses inside modules built to be replaced.
I can understand nagging paying customers with accessories needing repairs:
the wipers, the seat covers, the Xmas-tree, the Limp Mode scares, ...
What's strikes me is the BOSCH'sCROWN JEWEL: it's universally famous braking system is built to fail: perform as designed then disfunction.
🙂
> Significance for the wise:
Let's use what evidences on hand. Bosch is not going to pivot its best practices anytime soon. So it's up to us to make a good lemonade with the modules we got - Knowing what's concealed inside helps us further diagnose system conditions.

Master Surya you fix nothing here, ok?... ...
you just LINK the BEST IN THE WORLD threads you've posted throughout our cars.
> AN INDEX OF MB FIXINGS : Contributors should open A SINGLE POST entry to index ALL their favorites in a central place with links.
Other way for Texan rebels is to use a lone thread out there by itself, lost in the chronological mix - The way I favor is more like "UNITED THREADS": all organized in one place.
I worked 20 years in databases software development to learn that "knowledge is organized information".
Chaos for morons is hardly a valid organization. ✌️
Let us pray we get the master back to Jakarta with us... Cali is going on a quick road trip down to SAN DIEGO - USA soon... then the UK getaway cruise
