E350 Limp mode only with 2nd driver?
My wife owns a 2010 E350 with 80k (owned 1 year) and never has any issues. When I drive it (maybe a little aggressively) it will go into limp mode. I then turn it off and turn it on and everything is fine. I have read a few threads here and it doesn't sound like most of them. Just curious if it's because I drive differently and the tranny is confused or if I might have an actual issue. Any ideas on what I should check?
Thanks for all your help.

Could be the throttle pedal. If you floor it, and your wife does not, that could throw the car in limp mode.
They always reset when you turn the car off.
Have your wife floor it and see what happens. Go with her so she does not freak out.

Sorry for the delay and thanks for the input. I don't get a lot of chances to drive the car but it seems to be when getting on highway. I have tried to do full throttle and got nothing. Maybe it is only at highway speeds. I have to replace the windshield this weekend, maybe I will get a chance to play with it.

Why don't you read the codes?
With OBD scanners available for $8 it is waste of time to talk about it without checking.
Lot of things can trigger limp when you floor it:
-MAF on its last leg
-leak in the intake
-fuel restrictions (clog filter)
just to start.
