New brakes and front rotors
Just wanted to share my experience changing my brakes for the first time on my 2012 E350. My car now has 126k and to my knowledge the brakes have never been changed. I got the car with 30k. The brakes were okay, brake pad sensors still hadnt triggered the need to change but I knew I was close. After much research I decided to go with Autozone max ceramic pads (lifetime warranty) and their top rotors (black with holes). I initially bought all 4 rotors.
The process was straight forward and just as explained by all the various videos online; I didnt have any surprises. I will say my only regret was not getting my rotors resurfaced. Even after 126k miles the old rotors looked almost new and had plenty of meat left. Since I had already purchased the fronts I went ahead and swapped them because my front rotors wouldve needed resurfacing. My rears did not so I didnt change, just slapped the new pads on and just got a refund on them.
Again, pretty simple job, ive done brakes before. I did bed the brakes. Its been a couple days and they feel great.
Only advice is to not buy new rotors unless you are sure there is not enough material left. Get them resurfaced if there are lines in the them but other than that they should have plenty life in them.

Nearly 100K miles on a set of pads is amazing. I assume you do mostly highway driving?
(I just changed the pads on my E550, mainly to get rid of the noise from the old pads)

I do have a lot of highway miles but I never had brakes last that long. The first couple years I had a 35 minute highway commute, the past 2 I have had a 15 minute 1/2 highway 1/2 city. Im very happy so far with the autozone brakes.
