In Glove Box
Hello Again Folks!!...;
Just another question if I may, and Thank You to all of you who have had the patience to reply at my other questions. In my Glove Box is that connection cord with the "Apple" plug in. Since my MB is a 2010 E550, it has the old style plug for Apple. does that cord disconnect so that the new style apple, or even possibly an android plug can be installed??... I've tried to gently pull, or twist, and/or slide it off to replace it with no luck. I need a little "Block of Instruction" please....
Thank you
Fred

Can't answer your question, but note there is an air conditioning vent in the glove box. It is there to prevent overheating of whatever you attach to the cord. However, it needs to be closed when heater is being used to prevent overheating. Then opened back up in warmer weather. The Best or Nothing?

fred... these videos may offer some help...
your e550 may already have the auxiliary connection pre-wired...
and here (at 1:35) - from the looks of it, it looks like if you press the top and bottom lock buttons in, the cord can be removed...
good luck...

The air conditioner vent in the glove box is a really great idea. I used it yesterday driving from Nevada to California (home) to keep sandwiches and drinks from spoiling in the heat that was almost 100 degrees.
Would have never have known about it.
Thanks
