Thanks in advance for your input. I thought I'd reach out to all of you W212 owners to see what the re-sale market is like for the E250's. I have no idea how strong the market is for the Diesel engine?? Thanks again for your time and thoughts. I am the original owner and the car is in excellent condition and serviced exclusively at my local dealership (Hoehn). I also have an extended warranty (125,000 miles). I have an 80 mile commute (all freeway miles) so the vehicle does have a higher than expected mileage on the odometer. I also added staggered AMG wheels after the purchase and have new Pirelli P Zero Nero tires.

I'm trying to decide on a fair price and based on KBB and given the miles I'm considering around $20,000 - $21,000. Any idea what the current re-sale market is like for the E250?? The other option I have is to hold on to the MBZ since its still protected somewhat with the extended warranty and sell my family van (2011 Honda Odyssey with 162,000 miles). Thanks again for your help and thoughts....
I don’t really know the diesel market, but there are several here that do. The options and warranty really help and all I can say is this is a lot of car for $20K.
I use nadaguide.com, it's what the insurance companies use when figuring out the value of the car when it's totaled. Book is about 21k retail, normally private party you get anywhere from average to clean trade in which is in the 17-19k range. You might get a little more with the warranty.
If you’re not having any issues, I would keep it for another 100,000 miles Diesel are built for longevity and reliability. Just start doing UOA (used oil analysts) these will detect the early stages of engine problems. I use Blackstone for both my diesels
