Trying to get some exhaust sound
Trying to get better sound from my car I deleted the resonator and the other muffler at the rear. replaced with an xpipe and straight pipes to the rear mufflers. Car now sounds barely any different. Or louder. Any ideas if I get borla mufflers if this will help

E63 mufflers? I bought a pair for my 2010 e550. Every muffler shop in wichita kansas has told me that it wont work. So they are sitting in a box in the back seat. Ive been so busy i temporarily gave up on the project at the moment

Get some catless downpipes. I suspect you will get more sound and improve performance. The X-pipe isn't helping your goal; I think twin-turbo engines should have straight pipes and NA should be X, but that's just my opinion.
