Blind spot assist
The Assist feature turns off and then will start up again without any good reason. Should I have the system checked or is there something that can be Dione to fix the problem?

Check your battery state of charge first. A weak battery will cause all kinds of issues with options on your car, causing them to stop working and then restart when the SOC is back to a more normal state.
