DT tires deals.

Hello all,
I just found this post few mins ago, thought sharing it with you. 100$ off of 400$ or more and additional MIR for few brands. no love for Michelin.

I just gave up on searching for 18" AMG style OEM wheels and planned to buy new tires for my ugly looking stock 17" "Luxury" wheels.

1. What tires do you suggest? I know DT stand by their warranty on the tire life.
2. My TPMS sensors work fine now, should I be replacing them? In future if I want to replace TPMS sensors, do I need to dismount/remove the tires (meaning additional 20$ per tire for re-mounting) or I'm better off buying them now itself?

4 NEW 245/45-17 CONTINENTAL EXTREME CONTACT DWS06 45R R17 TIRES 32211 are coming for 544-70$ MIR and probably 80$ installation.
or any other tires you suggest for our tire eating heavy cars..!

TIA.

IMO Continental makes a good tire. I had PureContacts on a Crown Vic with good results, and I have ControlContacts on my E350.
Wet weather handling is good (I think the 4matic helps with that though). There is about 30K on the ControlContacts - wear resistance has been good, I think they are maybe at half wear, and I keep the car aligned/tires balanced. I'm generally an easy driver on the car, so I typically get decent wear out of a set of tires.
If I have a complaint, they are fairly noisy tires, to the point where I asked the dealer to check for any wheel bearing issues. Of course the fairly poor sound deadening in the car doesn't help - in retrospect they are probably no noisier than other tires with 30k but it's one of those things that once you notice it stays with you.
With that said, I would consider another set of Continentals, especially if the price was right.
