Wierd track listing from SD card.
I have a 2010 E350 with a comand system that via a PCMCIA card supports SD cards. I have bought a 32g card and it sort of functions well. the only problem is the track listing.
Every song is listed twice. First every song is listed like this:
._01 Hate Train
._02 Just a Bullet Away
And so on. after this the same files reappear like this:
01 Hate Train
02 Just a Bullet Away
The first filing of the folder, that starts with ._ can not be played, the files starting with 01 etc can be played just fine.
What causes this?
My folders are organised like this: Root---> Artist---> Album---> Song.

You probably created the SD card on a Mac. Those . files are resource forks (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resource_fork). Delete 'em and all will be well.

The SD card was supplied with music from my mac yes. (All files are mp3 320k)
How do i delete those resource forks? they don't appear on the SD card when connected to the mac.

If you're comfortable using the command line, you can follow the instructions here https://makandracards.com/makandra/7...olume-on-macos
Another option would be to mount the card on a windows machine where they will be visible in the GUI, from there you can delete.

Followed the instructions from the link you sent me - and now everything is how it is supposed to be.
Thanks a lot
