CANM8 Canbus high beam adapter
(Hello, im brand new to the forum and mercedes. Please let me know if im posting at the wrong place.)
I have a 2012 212 with ils. And I ordered a CANM8 high beam 12v signal module to give a relay signal to swith on a LED bar im mounting as extra full beam.
It says in the manual, remove N/S panel and ot indicates which wires to tap into. I find the instructions rather vage. Has anyone done this before and know exactly the location of the harness i need to access? What is NS panel? It says I have to access CAN HI and CAN LO
Thank you in advance

Thank you ygmn
I figured as such, and I also heard that tapping into the headlight for 12v to the relay is a bad idea.
Im used to doing it this way, but im told I will get errors on this car.
Do you have any further info on my initial question. It says in the manual:Remove the N/S kick panel The CAN Bus wiring is a twisted pair of wires, coloured as below:CAN Bus 1: CAN HI = BROWN / RED CAN LO = BROWNCAN Bus 2: CAN HI = GREEN CAN LO = WHITENote: If Reverse Gear Output is required, use Bus 1 for Manual and Bus 2 for Automatic cars.Otherwise, connect to Bus 1.
