W212 changed the wheels offset, so it is unique now, but for older models I have been finding so many factory wheels sold for the value of rubber on them, that I never was tempted to buy wheels who require spacers.
Spacers are additional item that can fail and they lower brake system cooling, so you better know what you are getting yourself into.
If you want to match custom bolts, the best way is to measure how much factory bolt sticks out from factory wheel.
Than take your new wheel, add spacer when applies, stick the bolt in and measure what is the difference you need to add/subtract for custom bolt.
Front hubs can take bolt several mm longer, but in the rear too long bolt will mess up parking brake.
