Battery replacement time or other problems?
Thanks
Diagnostics is around 130$.
If it turns out to be battery, and you agree to buy that at the dealer, they can adjust that diagnostics amount towards the battery along with the 150$ discount right..! Just my 2cents

I bought a battery tester off Amazon for about 50 bucks and it shows that my battery's SOH (State of Health) is about 20% which seems to be correct as the charge level, voltage, in the morning is around 12V even though I drive the car every day between 50 - 80 kilometers, including short highway stints.
I have been putting the battery on a charger overnight lately, still in the morning the voltage is not above 12.2V.
During cold start the battery voltage drops down to about 9.8V, the car starts fine though, morning temperature where I live is around +5C, about 40F.
So, at least for me it's time for a new battery, it is 5 years and 5 months old, the date of manufacture is stamped into the negative terminal, 13/08.
I checked my wife's car's battery with the same tester and it shows it is in perfect health, which it should be as it is only about two years old and the car is driven regularly.
So I presume the battery tester is working fine.
Have yours tested, it should be free and then if needed get a new battery.
I used the same as what was in the car Varta Silver Dynamic AGM 580 901 080.
