E250 CDI 2011
Fuel issues

Hello friends
I own an E250 CDI elegance 2011. I have her for more than a month. Picked up from the previous owner and has done about 66k. Driving is perfect and its giving me about 5.2l/100km.
Recently when I was driving, low fuel warming came up and fuel warning light on fuel meter came up. But the trip meter was still showing 100km more to go and fuel gauge also had fuel needle risen. I must have driven about 5km and car stalled. Diagnosis was low fuel pressure. When I had it checked at dealer they said that the suction jet is not working properly. The fuel pump is fine but the pump on left side responsible to lift the balance fuel to right side was having problems. I didn't believe them much so took a second opinion. We opened the suction jet and checked the pipes going to pump. The were clean and no leakages or blockages. But when there was no fuel in right side of tank where fuel pump is located then no fuel comes from left side which means when reserve fuel indication comes up I am stalled.
Where is the problem or is there really a problem?

Thanks
