Wheel Help

I drive a 2012 E550 cab (not lowered) and on a whim bought a set of used Mandrus wheels. I have done the calculations, but want someone to check my work. Currently, I have OEM wheels. On the front I have OEM 18 x 8.5 with a 48mm offset and the Mandrus is a 19 x 8.5 with a 25mm offset. The OEM rear is 18 x 9 with a 54mm offset and the Mandrus is 19 x 9.5 25mm offset. Am I correct in thinking the the front will stick out 23mm and the rear will stick out 42mm (29mm + the extra 1/2 in width)?
23mm is almost an inch and 42mm is about 1.5", which seems a bit much. Has anyone run a set up like this? Opinions on the set up?

Currently the rear wheels have rather large 295/35/19 tires, but when the weather breaks I plan on test fitting. There is no way I could run this size tire, as the diameter is 2" larger than OEM.

Best thing for you to do is make your own calculations using this website. Go into your owners manual towards the end and find your stock setup and use that as a base line to make your comparisons rather than rely on hearsay.

Good luck,

Bob

I used a similar website for my comparison calculations and they are confirmed by the website you listed. My OEM and aftermarket wheel numbers are correct. What I am trying to find out if anyone has run 8.5 x 19 25mm ET and 9.5 x 19 25mm ET on a W212, C207 or A207.

One thing I don't understand about the website you listed. It states the width of the 8.5" wheel is 216mm. The offset is the distance from the center line to the mounting pad. Half the width is 108mm plus the 48mm OEM offset would be a 156mm backspace, but this website lists it at 169mm. It still lists the backspace difference between the two wheels at 23mm, which is what I originally calculated. On the rear wheels, this website lists the difference of 29mm. I mistakenly included the extra 1/2 width into this number in my calculations.

These wheels will NOT work, period. There's nothing that can be done to make them fit. Offsets are 5mm front and massive 12mm rear lower than most aggressive possible. Wheels will poke a lot (especially rears). Those wheels are suitable for CLS or SL, not E.

BTW, your OEM wheels are not from A207, but from W212.
