W212 P0015, P0025
Hi All,
This is my first post here so I thought to share some experience with you, recently I have bought E300 2012 for my wife.
every one- two weeks I get check engine light with P0015 and P0025 errors specially after starting the car. the error goes away after driving 4 trips or by clearing using OBD knowing that the engine is smooth and there is no performance issue at all.
I decided to replace two camshaft magnets (A2720510177) by myself, I did the replace last week and it was easy change with no issues, until now the check engine light doesn't comeback.
I will update if any issues after the replacement.
I thought to put the post under W212 since most of the threads are related to older cars with 272 Engine.

Howdy abdnimer... just had the check engine light come on today after starting car and my BLUE DRIVER read P0015 and P0025. Interesting that this code would arise with only 66k on the car (2008 E350 - W211). Cleared it and am going to see if it comes on again. Thanks for the info about the magnets... I'll be trying that first.

211 should be posting here: https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w211-20/ P0025 = left exhaust camshaft y49/6, P0015 = right exhaust camshaft y49/7 your engine is not within affected range of defective balance shaft (cut off 30 468993) you may simply need to replace solenoids of which I suggest replacing all 4 at same time with current part # 2721560000.

Can you say what is difference between 2721560000 and A2720510177, if they are the same part? Thanks
