4Matic - Noise when at full steering wheel lock

Hi, have a 2014 E350 with ~ 92K miles on it. Bought it CPO with 22K miles on it. 35K miles ago, I noticed a bit of a noise and some juddering when at full steering wheel lock (both right and left) - sort of like the feel you get when you're in a 4WD truck on dry pavement and turn the steering wheel tightly. Dealer replaced the power take-off gear in the transmission at that time, under warranty, and the noise went away. The noise, but not the juddering has now come back and of course it's out of warranty. Is a little grumbling from time to time ok or is this going to turn into another power take-off gear replacement (I know - difficult to predict the future)?

BTW, 30K miles ago, the car developed a clunking at highway speeds. Dealer replaced the entire transmission, under warranty, at that time. Would've been $9K if out of warranty!

Thanks!
