Years ago I used their website email to ask about meaning of MB categories.
They forwarded my email to Germany and few days later got very detailed response.
I think for complain, the regional representative is first in the chain. No matter where you complain, it will come to him after-all.

I agree that it’ll most likely end up on the “right” desk at the end of the day. However, I strongly recommend entering an organization at a much higher level.

Yes, it’s quite possible the higher-up’s may have someone proactively screening their inbox for these kinds of emails or they simply forward them away without giving them much thought.

Yes, it’s also likely that senior executives value real world feedback from their customers - good, bad or ugly. That’s one way they can stay connected when they’re so far removed from the field.

Regardless of how these kinds of emails “descend from on high,” I contend they get far more attention and visibility than they would otherwise through normal channels.

I prefer to write (snail mail) directly to the CEO of a company. Emails are too easily deleted, ignored or forwarded to wrong person. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. MBUSA is one where it is unlikely to work. I have sent two letters to Deitmar Exler and the first one he kicked down to an "executive resolution specialist." I had already communicated with that person when I did my initial email to customer service. No help at all. Three weeks out from second letter to Exler and no response so far. Waiting for 30 days to see what they do and give them time to get over the Superbowl which was held at Mercedes-Benz stadium in Atlanta.
Depending on your complaint, their first response is take it to the dealer.

Incidentally, I think the address you have it old. Try below.

Mr. Deitmar Exler, CEO
Mercedes-Benz USA
1 Mercedes-Benz Drive
Sandy Springs, GA 30328
