Tire and Rim fitment ...E350 4matic ?

Hi
I just purchased a '13 E350 4 matic. I was looking to put set of staggered AMG 18s on the car. The set is off a newer E550 coupe. Is there any concern with AWD or fitment??

Rumors are that 4M have ESP more sensitive than RWD, but in either case, you need to match tires rpm within favorable 2%

Thanks
So I came up with this .. to close to the 2% .. is it worth the risk? Im thinking its not...Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
255/35-18 3.5in 12.5in 25.0in 78.6in 806 0.0%
235/40-18 3.7in 12.7in 25.4in 79.8in 794 1.5%

Are those numbers taken from real tires, or just generic data?
I said 2% as favorable, when common experience says the system might accept 4%.
So if your calculation is real, that should be good.

What are the offsets? Tires should be fine.

These are the specs I believe .. the owner was 100% sure. I researched them up on this site wheel-size.com. What set up are you running on your E550?

Yeah, you won’t have any problem with those fitting up. The stock offset for the W212 square setup is 48.
I’m running the 19” E63 AMG multispoke wheel. Offsets are 37ET front and 50ET rear.9 and 9.5 inch width. 245/35-19 and 285/30-19. Bridgestone S-04 Pole position. I only run these during the summer. I am on my 18” square AMG right now. We’ve been having a real winter this year.

What size are original tires?
Want to match Od to those as best you can to allow speedometer and odometer to work as is.

If your new OD is different then those will read correctly.

Remember less sidewall means more prone to wheel damage from potholes and wheels are expensive to replace.

My E400 has slightly different size tires with a tad bit more sidewall.
Front = 245/40 (4mm more sidewall)
Rear = 265/35 (3.75mm more sidewall)

Yeah not a lot but every bit helps and gives you another tire size which may match stock better.
