new to me 2015 e250
at 52000km, still has warranty until this December or 80000km.
Attached is the data card I was able to find. even though it says release date is Jan 22, 2015, 1st registration on this car was Dec, 2015 according to MB Canada.
some questions I have.
1) is it normal for a car to sit unsold for almost 1 year?
2) what oil does this diesel take? and how much of it?
3) confused about fuel filter, how often to change it?
4) any other maintenance needed?
5) any advise on keeping running well for a long time?
I Know almost nothing about Mercedes, most of my cars where Chrysler, my last one was a 2013 300s with Hemi v8

We do have diesel section, where you will find lot of info about those OM651 engines,.
I love them for great economy and easy access, but hate for weak and expensive sensors + new car politics that require SCN coding at dealer even for stupid headlight replacement.
First advice - get ScanGauge and program Xgauges on it for DPF regeneration and soot status.
Beware that in case your DPF will fail past warranty, the rebuild one cost over 3 grands and member who had it replaced under warranty - reported total over $6000 billed.
Simple maintenance issue as DPF is consider wearable
I guess those quotes might give you idea why the car sit unsold for long time.
For fluids- bookmark this page https://bevo.mercedes-benz.com/bevol...ets-sort1.html
Read it at each service as recommendations can change on monthly bases. You will find links to maintenance schedule and scope on this forum if you don't have your manual. Register at mbusa.com and see if you will find digital copies.
I am using 229.52 class oils.
NOW. WHERE IS THE PICTURE?

maybe you can help, I tried to connect the system via Bluetooth online, but no luck, tried my s9+ with bluedun, pdanet+, and a xiomi mi a2 phone that has bluetooth tethering enabled out of the box and still wont connect online, anything I am missing?
otherwise music and phone calls via Bluetooth work great.
Maybe there is some update I need to do?

Not big fan of electronics. My Ford talks with headquarters behind my back and even I liked monthly health reports - Ford canceled the service.
