Keyless GO Button Stuck?

Has anybody had problems with the Keyless GO button sticking? Meaning that when you go to push it you're unable to as if something is blocking it from being pressed. It's happened to me twice in the past couple of weeks when I go to turn the car off. I'm basically unable to push the button. When I pulled that silver cap off I can feel that there is a spring mechanism inside the dash. Maybe that's jamming up.

Let me know if anyone of you experienced this and found a solution.

I measured the voltage of the key battery with a voltmeter and it showed that it was low. I received the "Replace Key Battery" message in the gauge cluster the past few days, but it wasn't constant. In the past, when the key battery was low the message would appear each time I started the car. I also received the "Key Not Detected" warning a few times while driving. I know the new battery will solve these issues, but I'm not sure if the battery has any relation to the Keyless GO button getting stuck occasionally.
