Does this mean the AC Compressor is malfunctioning? If it is, it should produce a code when it's hooked up on the Benz scanner right?

So, at what condition is the car engine when the gauges in the picture show the equal pressure on both sides of the compressor? Running or not with A/C on?

If it is running with A/C on it could be your refrigerant charge is low. You would need to have way higher pressure on the high side but if the charge is low the compressor does not come on regardless of the 7 sensors the system monitors. The only sensor reading keeping the compressor from coming on is the low charge.

You said they flushed the system and then it worked until "yesterday". It sounds to me you have a refrigerant leak that allowed it to work until the charge went too low for it to come back on.

I'm not certain exactly what the MB compressor looks like, but Volvo has a known issue where the compressor clutch wears to the point that the coil can't engage the clutch, so the compressor never starts.

Installing small shims resets the distance, so that the coil can again engage the clutch.

Maybe it's something similar to that?

if you'll notice, both of the gauges in the pic are about 65psi, meaning either the car is not running, or the compressor is not compressing...

Ac not blowing cold air and BT choppy time to time

After driving about 7 hours or so the car began getting warm and humid. I played with the climate control settings, by adjusting temperature, zones, recirculation, turning off and on. Nothing worked, until I made a rest stop and then restarted the car after sitting for about 10 minutes.

This was May 28, 2019. The A/C worked just fine after restarting the vehicle and remained so until the morning of June 19, 2019. After driving about 45 minutes on the way to work, the same thing happened and any manual adjustments failed to correct the problem. I turned the car off just before 7am on Park Avenue at 33rd St and called MB Manhattan to schedule a service appt. They said to come in right in. So I started the vehicle and turning the A/C on auto as I always keep it and it worked just fine.

I arrived at MB Manhattan by 730AM explained the issue and history and that it was working fine now. I also explained that after a few songs the BT connection gets choppy. I figured it was a good idea to have both issues looked into at once and the BT issue isn't as important but nonetheless annoying.

After 2 days, they could not replicate the A/C issue. They uncovered the AC unit in the passenger footwell and found it to be functioning and clear of any debris.

But they found that my 2014 E350S4 required a software update for the COMMAND unit that controls the climate control and bluetooth functionality. So far after a day the AC is working fine and the BT connection has been flawless.

I will update this thread in about 3-4 weeks and hopefully I can report that everyting is operating as new.
Hello I have similar issues my AC is not blow cold air and my BT is choppy sometimes. I wonder if I need a update also. 2010 E350

One of the posts on the subject suggested that if it was marginal on refrigerant it could act like that. Had something to do with a sensed pressure and the system was trying to protect itself from running dry.
I have a 2013 E350 W212 that started, last summer, doing just exactly what you described. It seems I may have TEMPORARILY solved it by NOT SHUTTING IT OFF once it decided to work again. For the last month I have simply adjusted the temperature up or down as desired but left it in AC mode. Not helping my fuel consumption but I can't get it into my service guy until Jan 21st (just over a week from now). I do plan on reporting back on here with whatever the machanic finds, hopefully by 1/ 22/ 2022.
