BMW R1200R

S212 drivetrain options

I’ve been starting to do research on the S212 wagon and what year and model I would like to buy. So far every listing I have seen has 4matic. Was the 212 wagon ever offered with just RWD in America?

Also im assuming we never got a diesel wagon here? What was the last year for the diesel wagon in the states?

2016 E350 wagon

I think a while back you might have been able to get a RWD wagon but recently it's all 4matic. As for diesel, no idea.

Is there any sort of database that shows options and standard features model year by model year??

Do a search in google for the chassis number (w212) the model year and "Dealer Ordering Guide" or "DOG". They're often posted to threads on forums and they generally have a list of the differences in ordering for dealers.
