it's glued on with windshield adhesive like all headlights made in the last 25 years. You need to cut the old one out and remove the remaining fragments and clean out the perimeter groove afterwards. And then reinstall the new lens with windshield adhesive as sealer. Watch M539Restorations video on YouTube as he made one of the better instructional videos. You can try heating the whole headlight in the oven to soften the glue, but you risk destroying the whole headlight so I personally wouldn't do it that way.
