Anyone with e350cdi OM642 engine here?
Hi everyone.
I just replaced my seals on the oil cooler, but im having some troubles with the correct routing of the return line for the injectors. Cant seem to remember where it was routed and already broke because the charge pipe is pressing it downwards.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could post some pics of the return line especially in the dieselfilter area, i seriously dont wanna brake the new one
I googled some pictures of OM642, but there are only pics from w211 and the return line is not the same on w212 wich i have.

Thank you so much for your help, but that is so weird that my engine setup is completly different from yours even with the same engine. I dont have this grove on the thermostat where the return line is inserted and some other things are different too.

Here is what I have.
Those engines not only come with different HP versions, but in different vehicle, the piping is different. I suspect you can find tens of variations. But the fuel lines most of the time fit only 1 way, what should give you some clues.
