Trading In My 13 Wagon - How Do I Delete Contacts & Call History
I am trading in this wagon for a 17 E400 and tried to follow the prompts on my 13 to delete all my stored contacts but after I pressed yes to confirm nothing happened. I am trying to do this now as well as delete call history while it is top of mind before I turn in the car but nothing I tried seemed to work. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Reset function
You can reset COMAND to the factory settings.
Amongst other things, this will delete all
personal COMAND data. These include:
- Station presets
- Entries in the destination memory
- Entries in the list of previous destinations in
- the navigation system
- Entries in the address book
- Authorized telephone
In addition, an activated PIN protection,
which you have used to protect your data
against unwanted export, will be deactivated.
Resetting is recommended before selling or
transferring ownership of your vehicle, for example.
Mercedes-Benz is not liable for any loss of data.
- Press the(CAR) button on the COMAND control panel. or
- Press Vehicle in the main function bar.
The vehicle menu is displayed.
- To select System Settings: slide controller down,
turn and press the controller to confirm.
A menu appears.
- To select Reset: turn and press the controller.
A prompt appears asking whether you wish to reset.
- Select Yes or No.
If you select No the process is canceled.
If you select Yes a prompt will appear again
asking whether you really wish to reset.
- Select Yes or No.
If you select Yes a message will be shown.
COMAND is reset to the factory settings and restarted.
If you select No the process is canceled.

Thank you but I was never able to get it to work with our garage door opener! I am optimistic that I can get my new wagon to sync so I can stop using the manual opener but appreciate the reminder.

As a side note, if your garage door opener support things like wifi or MyQ, you'll to enable it to receive signals from older style openers. It worked great with my '11. Even new cars are using the old signal, from what I can tell.
