Got this illuminated star for free on eBay after the seller claimed it was plug and play. Any idea how to install it, the other threads have different wiring so pls help!
How I did my star was I ran the red wire to my cigarette lighter fuse at the fuse box in the engine bay [I forgot what location it was] and the ground to a bolt in the engine bay and I haven't had any issues.

Agree, this is simple. OP will spend more time fiddling to install the star with the point facing up (try all three positions to find the one that works.)
