Software bugs again

Hi, I have the same issue with a Sony Experia 3G/4G GSM phone in my 2011 E350. The root cause is the software in the android phone is not compatible with the software in the car.

Solutions (listed cheap to expensive):

1. Road Safety Message - Stop using the phone when driving - don't add another distraction and focus on the task at hand - driving.
2. Stop using the android phone - I just use my work i-Phone instead.
3. Upgrade the phones software - may or may not fix the issue
4. Replace the phone - check with the dealer for a list of phone makes/models which are compatible with your vehicle & its software version
5. Upgrade the vehicles software - may or may not fix the issue

Seriously, we need to rethink about our use of mobile phones while driving. So many deaths and injuries are caused by drivers not paying attention. My phone now travels in the closed console compartment on every drive.
