Long crank

*Own a e350 v6 w212*. Done about 172000 kms. Had no issues. But just changed the intake manifold due to breaking of a child part (plastic connecting rod). Since it was opened I also got my injectors cleansed. All this done at an authorised dealer. Car always has been to the same dealer for 9 years. After it was fitted, the car wouldn’t fire up on the first two starts. Then she fired.
Now she starts on cold starts but doesn’t fire up instantly if the car is left idle for a couple of hours. Any ideas. Battery is 2 years old but in great shape. Twice today , after a 10 km run and standing idle for about 2 hours each time she wouldn’t fire up on the first crank. She fired on the 2nd and 3rd crank respectively. Plugs are also brand new.

Typical signs of flooded engine due leaking injector.
Talk to the dealer who did the cleaning.
If you have fuel pressure gauge, hook it up and confirm.

Many thanks brother. The injectors were working just fine before the cleaning. She runs beautifully after the cleaning. Picks up speed phenomenally well. It’s just this starting issue that’s troubling now. Otherwise she drives as majestically as a peregrine falcon. But I’ll bring it up with dealer today and post the problem later on the forum.

Hooked it up to a gauge. On cranking touched about 4.5 bar. Then dropped to about 2.2 bar.
Still have the same problem. Cold starts are good, but the starts after the car has run about 15 city kms and left to rest for a couple hours that’s where the trouble is. Long cranks especially if the car is parked on a steep gradient.
any clues guys. Much help needed.

How long the 2.2 bars hold with engine off? If that goes down within seconds, that means fuel leaks somewhere inside the engine.
