W212 front seat swap with coupe seats

Has anyone ever done a front seat swap in a W212? Reason for asking is I have recently bought a Cuprite Brown E350 (rare colour in the UK) with tan leather. Love the exterior colour but not a fan of the tan! I can quite easily acquire and black leather interior but quite fancied putting the E class coupe front seats in instead whilst i'm at it.

Has this ever been achieved? I presume I will need to swap some of the electrics over from the existing seats such as occupancy sensors etc?

never done that, but it seems it would be doable. I would imagine the seat bracket have different attachment points as the sedan and coupe are different chassis though...might have to disassemble the seats and swap the lower brackets??? Let us know if you decide to do this, I really like the coupe seats...

My thinking as well, I was hoping that the existing runners will somehow attach to the coupe seats, presume depends on height as well. My current seats are part electric (they manually slide but electrically operate the back) so presume I would need the same setup when sourcing a coupe set....

Hi there,
Apologies for the open message but as I am new here I cannot PM you.
I am UK based and I have an immaculate set of black front and back seats from an E63 if you are
interested? Full electric and heated with memory.

Sportier than the standard and no fitment problems.

You can get me at: g13smw (at) Gmail (dot) com

Thanks, AM

Thanks for the message, To be honest I only want to spend a few hundred pounds on an interior and presume/imagine the E63 ones will be more expensive than that (the E class is my runabout!). Agree they are super comfy though (used to have one last year!).

Thanks
