Wheel and Tire fitment help

Hey everyone,

I am looking to buy new wheels and tires and needed help with the tires to make sure I don't go out of spec with the 4Matic. Here are the details, can you someone please let me know if I will be okay in terms off the offspec and fitment.

I have a 2014 E550 4Matic Sedan. I am doing a staggered setup with Rohana Wheels.

19x8.5 ET 42mm in the front with 245/35/19 tires
19x9.5 ET 45mm in the rear with 275/30/19 tires

I believe the front will be okay from entering these into a wheel and fitment calculator but I am not sure about the rear, would 285/30/19 tires be better or worse? I don't have alot of experience with this so I am hoping the forum can help me.

Thanks in advance for everyone's help.

It appears using the tire comparison tool here that the 245/285 combo is the perfect rolling diameter.

Going a step further, I see in the owners handbook that the E63 uses the following setup.

From the owners manual, I see that the stock ET is 48 front and rear. Your ET 42/45 is not that far from stock so shouldn't be a problem but my question would be the E63 setup ET's. Maybe we are splitting hairs. Use the comparison tool and also do some measuring on your own to see if there is room with the sizes you want to buy. I have 255's all around on my car and they look great but not only that they are rotatable which will extend their full life warranty which on a non-rotatable set is cut in half.

Anyway, let us know what you have done and how it works out for future reference.

Good luck,

Bob

I have the same car with OEM E63 19” wheels. 245/35 and 285/30. No issues at all. I recommend the 285 over the 275 for better rolling matchup
