Camber issues on 20” wheels

I’m just wondering does anyone have issues with the camber that riding with 20” wheels? Just curious if I need to order the camber bolts.

The size of the wheels doesn’t have anything to do with it. Profiles are lowered so outside tire diameter stays relatively the same.

Lowering the car is another story. That increases camber.

As Viper said, it depends. Are you lowered or stock height? I run 20”, but I’m also bagged. The camber bolts will only give you like 0.3 degrees. So you’ll need actual arms if you need to adjust it more than that.

I’m not lowered( stock sport suspension), and I was just curious because I’m getting new 20” wheels soon. Need a alignment soon so I thought I should go ahead buy the camber bolts Incase of it to late.

W212 models have "Strut" front suspension not upper wishbone arms.

We therefore manufacture 2 forms of adjustment.

Replacement of the '4' lower arm (highest wearing) bushings. Providing also precise, single wrench Camber and also Caster adjustment (up to 1.5 degrees Camber) P/N 502916 K $480 see attached fitting sheet.

For further adjustment "Replacement Top Strut Mounts" (Coil Spring Models) - up to extra 3 degrees for Track days in the pursuit of front row of the grid lap times. Significantly reducing understeer allowing to go deeper into the corners with increased traction and braking response.

The unique patented design allows fast/accurate adjustment from engine bay (2 versions):


STAGE 2 (Street / Race) P/N 502916-2 L $545
STAGE 3 (Full Race) P/N 502916-3 L $545

FOR THE REAR also similar single wrench adjustable replacement bushing kit with Camber (and extra Toe to compensate for the new Camber facility) P/N 502226 $480

ANOTHER POPULAR KIT - Uprated bushings for the 6 multi link rear arms. Less twitch, flex, loss of traction - especially when applying power to lane change / overtake P/N 502628 K $480

The camber bolts will help but it is a fixed adjustment. Two on each side. One in camber and one in caster arms. There are slots in the bolts that allows you to remove bolt, adjust arm, insert new bolt lining up the slots.

Do it yourself or find someone who has done it. Mark the bolt heads where the slots are to make sure that both seat properly in the notches in the arms. Otherwise you will be chasing noise and vibration issues.

They are only like $15 so worth the effort. I did. Now there are $500-2k solutions which have their own drama depending on who you ask but they dial you in perfectly.

im going to do alignment first and see what is the results I get then I will go from there.
where did you end up purchasing the bolts from. I have to let mercede dealership to do it otherwise other people don’t know how to put it in

See if they will credit you on the first alignment because you don’t want to be charged twice.

I ordered mine online but cannot remember where. Since you are having alignment done there then just get the bolts from them I assume.

Updated:
no camber bolts was needed after I install the new wheel then I took it to mercede dealership for alignment and after in specs was told no camber bolts was needed.
