2013 E550 Motor/Rear Transmission mounts

My E550 is in for it's 6 year service, and spark plug change. I asked to have the motor/transmission mounts checked because I was noticing a little vibration at idle in gear. Anyway they agreed with me, and are replacing the mounts under my M-B CPO extended warranty. Apparently they had to drop the front sub-frame to do the repair. Anyway should the car have a 4 wheel alignment done, due to the sub-frame removal?

I wouldn't think you would need to do an alignment. Dropping the subframe doesn't really change the alignment of the car. But I usually just get a 3 year alignment warranty at Goodyear, last time they had a sale and it was $149 for a 3 year warranty. Other places like Firestone and NTB also offer multiyear alignment warranties.

Good for you. That's a good service to have covered under CPO. I usually get my car aligned no less than every couple of years as things wear and potholes take their toll. Not sure when you had your last alignment, but I can always sense when my car is out of alignment more so in this E550 4M than any other car I have owned.
