2011 E550 4Matic sedan tire size 20”?
Have been searching on the forum for some time now and have yet to have a clear answer. So I am posting to see if someone can help me out.
I would like to purchase these wheels below. However, I’d like to figure out which tire size i would need. Im sold on this style of wheel so If ever these offsets are too aggressive. Please suggest another wheel that works.
Front: 20x8.5 / +35mm offset
Rear: 20x10 / +38mm offset
66.56 hub bore
5x112
From what i’ve read online many people recommended different sizes and just gets confusing.
Keep in mind i live in Montreal Quebec and the roads are terrible but that wont stop me from getting 20”.
So highest sidewall possible without rubbing.
Front tires: 235/35/20 or 245/30/20? Other suggestions?
Rear tires : 275/30/20? Other suggestions?
I understand since it’s a 4matic i need to maintain the same diameter for both ends. (Within .1) and i don’t know how to confirm that.
I also don’t want the stretched look. Rather nice and flush with the wheel & body itself.
(S-Class for reference to wheels only, did not find any black E-Class sedan with these wheels)
Thanks for the help! Hope I gave you all the details needed.
Also, just installed an E63 exhaust with a resonator delete along with a carbon fibre diffuser + deck lid wing
will post some photos/videos soon

Learn what ET means https://www.oponeo.co.uk/blog/wheel-...fset-explained
Understand how wrong an excessive ET deviation from stock and eventually scrub radius change so much, can destroy your car handling.
No point looking cool if it can't handle as it should.
