W212 E-class
Valeo radiator in 2016 w212

Hi guys, this is to follow up from my previous thread were I experienced trans fluid leak to the radiator coolant. After flushing the transmission, my local mechanic ordered a new Valeo radiator for my 2016 w212 e350 4matic. The radiator's box however had C class written on it, but I can't remember well if it was the W203 or W204 C class. The mechanic already installed the radiator for me but I've heard that Valeo's radiators are very cheap and have bad build quality; however, is this still the case in 2019?
Thank you.

I've used Valeo a few times with no problem. They're a reputable brand from what I recall. We have a lot of shared parts with the W204 so it wouldn't surprise me to see something C-class related on the box. I'm willing to bet the part number even started off with 204.

Saud, is this trans oil cooler radiator a small sized one and stand alone ? I mean no more sharing with engine radiator like in W211.
Where did the leak happen ? At the joint of hose to radiator or at the radiator mini pipes itself ?

thanks
