Front Subframe Removal

Front Subframe Removal
Getting a whine from the front of the car at highway speeds. I suspect that my front differential is on the way out. I believe that the subframe has to be dropped in order to access it. Anybody have experience doing this? How bad of a job is it? The only good news is I need the engine mounts replaced so I would get a two for one on that. What about bushing and control arm replacement? My car has 130K miles.
