Step by step coolant flush - m276 motor in a W212 E350
I've cobbled together some info on how to complete a coolant flush and fill for a m276 motor in a 2013 E350 sedan. My coolant is not bright green anymore and temps seem a bit high. I had it flushed about 2 years ago at a oil change shop since it was so discolored. I have 86k miles.
I saw a great
detailing this process but it's not for an E350.
The E350 manual says it's a 10 quart system but offers no details on the drain plug (petcock). I've read some threads about folks breaking the MB petcock which is kind of a bummer.
They say to use Zerex coolant which is up to MB spec. Don't forget to use distilled water and burp the system.
I found a decent Car Care Kiosk video that details this process for our car.
8MM wrench takes the undercarriage bolts off.
I'm going to assemble the supplies and try this and report back.
