E350 aggressive throttle response

E350 aggressive throttle response
Hi. I've got a 2015 E350, automatic, about 20k miles on it. Love the car but have a couple minor issues that maybe someone has a solution for.
I feel that the throttle response is way to aggressive. As soon as I touch the gas pedal there is a rush of power, so I have to be overly cautious when pressing it.
It's almost like they tuned it for a manual car, and the added torque of the torque converter is making it too sensitive?
Is there any way to change the throttle response? To make it more 'lazy' so to speak.

Refreshing to read that someone feels the throttle response is too much. Most of you boy racers here say it is too little.

Good suggestion on the pedal box. I had heard of these products, but didn't know the name. Found this one:
https://www.pedalbox.com/us/mercedes.../pedalbox.html
Their spiel is to increase response, but it seems it might be able to detune it, I sent them a question about it.
Moving the seat back does help some, and so do lighter shoes. But I would prefer to 'fix' the problem.
I feel that for a luxury car like an E class the throttle response is way too aggressive. if it was a sports car no issues whatsoever.
BTW. Mine is a sport model, has anyone driven both sport and luxury? Does anyone know if the throttle response is identical?

You need one with an Eco mode that reduces sensitivity .
As above most are purchased to sort out the drive by wire - ecu lag , but as yours is too responsive !
Normally those with Eco mode is not required and can be dangerous as further increasing lag where lag is an issue .
The only other positive application of Eco mode desensitising the pedal is a 4x4 climbing a stony path that would see a bouncing foot .

I have never read anyone complain that a Mercedes has a throttle response that is too aggressive. Almost always people complain of it being lazy. I have yet to drive a facelift W212, is it really that different from a 2014 W204?

The m276 direct injected v6 engine is incredibly responsive. Just before I got the E350 about a year ago I had a 2017 Mustang that had a similar 3.5l v6 engine, same power but port injected.
The Mercedes v6 is way more responsive! DI makes a big difference.
I have not driven a car with the previous MB v6, but the difference is likely similar as compared to the Ford.
Perhaps my foot is not light enough or I'm doing something else wrong, but often when I pull out quickly my body is pushed back, then I rebound and my foot position changes and the car lurches forward.
As someone posted heavier shoes/boots make it even more difficult to control.
If I just floor it there is obviously no problem, but that is typically not an option.
Thanks for the suggestions etc. appreciate it a lot.
