Aftermarket warranty suggestion/experience

Hello fellow forum participants.
Someone near and dear to me recently purchased a 2011 E350 Cabriolet! Beautiful car!
According to the Carfax it was serviced regularly @ Fletcher Jones MBZ so that's a good thing. BUT, given how pricey things can be, I need recommendations on the preferred aftermarket warranty company to go with please! Car is located in the Palm Springs, CA area.
Thanks in advance!

For my new to me 2010 E350 with 41,000 miles, back in Dec 2018 I purchased a 7 year warranty from Autopom (Paramount Coverage) for $3,600 which will take me up to 100,000 miles. I only drive 4 or 5k miles a year so this works. This is as close to bumper to bumper as you can get. Earlier this year my drivers side heated seat stopped working and my transfer case needed to be sealed. I took the car to an MB dealer. They called the warranty company for me. The warranty company sent out an adjuster and determined that these are covered parts. Thus, they sealed the transfer case and gave me a new heating element for the seat. I only had to pay $100 deductible for the $2,200 job. Last month, I took my car to the dealer because the vibration I was getting and start up and as I drove away was getting more intense. I suspected it was either engine or tranny mount. I asked them to take a look. They determined that the tranny mount and the two engine mounts needed to be replaced. My warranty covers it and I only paid $100 deductible.

Thanks so much PB! Very good coverage in my estimation and the price seems very fair!

heck out Autopom! They have fairly comprehensive plans. I recently purchased a 4 yr 60k mile extended inclusionary plan which is a somewhat close comparison to the factory warranty. I paid $2950. Prices in the state of CA are capped by the state department of insurance.

I don’t live in CA but I have an address in the state that I am associated with via my employer. The plan i purchased wasn’t available in my home state of WA, and prices in WA are 2x for much less coverage.

I ended up with the Royal Elite MBI plus. $50 deductible per mechanic visit. I can use any mechanic or dealership in US or Canada. The lifetime payout on the policy is capped at the purchase price of the vehicle (not the fair market value like some lesser plans). This cap remains in effect for the duration of the policy.

Maybe check them out.
