E400 2016 transmission oil change/filter
Hello all, I am confused with when to perform transmission service on my 2016 E400 4Matic. Some people say 40k miles and some say 60k miles. I’m currently at 39k miles and wondering when this service should be performed. I would check the owners manual but unfortunately don’t have it so any help appreciated.

Owners manuals are available at mbusa.com however, maintenance manuals do not seem to be available for download. I found a dealer web site MB maintenance Manuals which does show them all the way back to MY 2000.
My reading on page 17 says first change at 30K then page 18 says every 60K thereafter.
Good luck,
Bob

You might want to consider buying a 2 service pack for your 50/60 service. Those would include the spark plugs at 50k and the transmission fluid at 60k. Usually they charge separately for those two items. They don't discount it much in the extended warranty subforum, but some dealers mark it up so you might also want to check there for the current prices.
