2016 E350 4Matic Sport Pkg
door ajar warning
my 2016 E 350 4Matic Sport dosent have door ajar warning with car icon in speedo display screen or warning alarm is this just my car or all cause i didnt know my mother inlaw was standing outside rear door with door open was looking forward with radio on i didnt think she was getting out with wife so iwent to pull further up in parking space and i ran over my mother inlaws foot.please let me know

I do not believe I've ever seen a door open warning show in the cluster in any of my Benz cars unless the car is rolling. It never occurred to me before that this is really odd. I believe if you start rolling (the running over of your MIL is probably not enough distance) with the driver door open the car should prompt you to put it in park. It might even do it for you is my understanding. If you start rolling with any of the other doors/hood/trunk open, it will tell you specifically. That is how I believe it works - have not tested this.
