I am not a lawyer but I was a new car dealer for forty years before I retired. I have been around a mechanic or two once or twice. People bring them cars daily with abnormal symptoms and their profession is to identify...diagnose...correct. If you or any other totally up-tight folk really think they are not going to rev an abnormally modified Mercedes to hear the silliness...you need to re-think. As far as you making someone answer for it. good luck. I would have politely asked you to take your vehicle and leave and please don't come back!

Yup. I agree with this. But some people are being ridiculous about it.

Deep Breaths everyone... Deep Breaths...

We don't want to court chuckles (about respect/reverence) from our friends on the SL AMG Forum...

And here you insult a V8 Mustang (to paraphrase Mark Twain). They actually sound pretty good. Though to your point I suppose they can be made to sound bad as well.

I'll be honest, IMO it's much ado about nothing. So they revved you car a couple times and made a couple of off handed remarks about your mod. What harm did they cause?

No, they revved it. Not revered it. Too much reverence in this thread.
