My 2014 E550 4matic has started to develop a vibration/whine when making tight turns such as when parking or maneuvering through a parking garage. Does anyone have any idea what it is? Thankfully I still have extended warranty

Mine done it since new, they are known to do this. Take a video.

There is a small amount of vibration or wheel hop with AWD vehicles when turning lock to lock. Whine noises are usually power steering related, when there is a pump. I believe you are electric assist.

My 4matic has a bit of a "rumble" sensation when turning at full lock, which I noted during the initial test drive. I chalked it up to the AWD as all of these types I have driven have exhibited some type of binding at full lock.
