Help
so I bought my first E class in end of Nov last year.
However I was having some issues so I went to the Mercedes garage as the car Is under warranty:
I have been told the following. ..
I have to pay £240 for 2 hours investigation
Rocker cover gasket needs changing £788
Sat nah needs to be updated but require a license £80
Draining adblue which will cost £120
Now the car I bought from the garage is 2 and half months old. Can I argue that these faults should have been checked during their inspection?
Understandably I have to pay the investigation fee but rest of the issues should not appear after 2 months?
Any advice what I maybe able to do?

So it has the one year warranty, but the advisor has said the above isn't covered? Defeats the purpose of the warranty?
In addition, he suggested that the Mercedes branch I have purchased it off from should try and be liable for the cost as it's just been 3 months of owning the car...?

We have few UK members here who might tell more about legal issue.
When old fluids are never covered by warranty, oil leak should be.
Than if you can save £120 for 20 minutes DEF drain, why don't you DIY ?

DEF is urea. I am not much of chemist, but I understand it is not poisonous, although highly corrosive. So add rubber gloves.
Not sure if that is safe to dump in the toilet, so you might want to check with local garbage co if they have recycling center that would take it.
How it was judged bad? I know that DEF has only 6 month shelf life at high temperatures and driving in 120F, 45 C weather that is my worry, but so far cars don't object and since we don't drive a lot, some DEF can be 2 years old in the car.

In terms of the charges they are applying, £240 for investigation ....2 problems driver side window and sat nab is under warranty....whilst the other 2 problems is oil leak and as blue ....how is this not covered in the warranty?
They also want the loan car back tom but I need a vehicle for work?
Can anyone advice how I can dispute the charges please?
