Toasted Skin Syndrome?

Hello,
For few days in last month I used the seat warmer. I get itchy back and thighs. It took two weeks to get my itch under control with lots of moisturizing cream to help with.

On the other hand, my wife doesn't have this problem, knock on wood.
I don't have the same issues with rental cars or loaner cars as well. (I've been in loaner cars pretty frequently because of few issues on this vehicle), in fact I'll pick up one tomorrow for some other warranty issues.

Now, Do you think there might be some issue specifically with my vehicle or its just me and its the time of the year (North Carolina)?
FWIW, I got the lower seat cover replaced (MB-Tex).
Thanks.

Highly unlikely to be the car seats. More likely your choice of laundry detergent in the clothing you wear in the car.

I have no allergies at all... except for Tide Laundry detergent. Affects only me, not my wife or kids. Ask the wifey if she's changed detergents lately, and consider some changes to experiment.

2014 E550-sold 😩
Yep, your laundry detergent or your shower bar soap. If you have changed either lately, that is your problem.
Sounds like Home Ec class....

LOL, yes. Just as Ted Nugent says, "Things a fella can use..." a pocket knife, handkerchief... and some hypoallergenic hand wash.

Yeah, I recently got the new Fabric Softener and Lint sheets and started using it since December. Will try from there again, but will test with the current clothes with fabric softener and the lint sheets with the new loaner car and see if there is any difference.
As for detergent - same brand and style for 2 years already.
