Keyless Entry Not Working W212
Keyless Touch Entry and Push Button Start issues.
I imported W212 from Singapore and when I had inspected the car, Keyless Entry (without using buttons) and Push Start were working.
shipping took 2 months, and when I recieved the car, the pushbutton was pulled out and sitting in the glove box.
Key buttons on the key fob, lock, unlock, tail gate open, close open windows all work fine. The keyfob used in place of button starts and runs the car and I can use rest of functions of the car.
But, the Door Handle touch lock/unlock and button start do not work.
When you touch the door handle from outside, message in the panel says "key not detected'"
How do I get the car to detect the ''keyless go" key?

don't understand this
then, you probably do not use the same key that you used before import
after you explained me what you mean with "the pushbutton was pulled out and sitting in the glove box." I can give you tips

Replace the fob batteries and try again with the push to start button and at the door handles.

You might be suprised...lol
The "push-button" that goes into the EIS(what was taken out and placed in the glovebox) is a static device and has no bearing on anything as far as programming or anything like that. It is merely a button. If the battery is weak in the key-fob, the buttons will work to open/unlock the doors, but it will be too weak to transmit the signal for Keyless-Go to work properly.
Life-hack: The key-fob calls for a 2025 Battery, but I use the 2032. it is 3.2mm thick as opposed to the stock 2.5mm thick battery, and lasts quite a bit longer. It's a bear to get in and out, but totally worth it not to have to change out as often.

I asked what button as it could have been the pushbutton on the shifter, not familiar with all models equipments as so many
He came and get my attention in the W215 part
I work 99.9% on S series
