Stering column recall?
I just ran across this article calling out a locknut in the steering column of 2015~2019 C, E, and CLS-class RWD vehicles:

How can I find out if my car is on the list and if the recall service was performed?

And... As is typical, entering one's VIN yields the standard "There are No Recalls for your vehicle at this time."

Yes, steering rack issue, my bad. Thanks for the link ygmn, my VIN reports no recalls.

I did search the service sticky but didn't find this. Thanks for the thread links DFWdude!

Edit: Apparently this isn't a recall but a service campaign? How would I get my dealer to take care of this? I want peace of mind. I baby my cars most of the time, but not always. Last thing I want is the steering to lock up mid apex of a turn...

I had the campaign completed a few weeks ago, but I received a letter from MB informing me of the issue and how to get it repaired.

If yor vehicle is affected rest assured you will receive a letter from MB. Or you can contact dealer to run VMI to see if your VIN is included.

I did this, very simple. In my case it did not apply.
