AC freon recharge
I have a 2014 e350, roughly 45k miles. My issue is all of a sudden ac isn’t getting cold. So my question is, is this common to have a 6 year old car need a ac recharge? I’ve never ever had to do this to any other car. If you feel like it’s just a recharge, can I buy a bottle of 134a recharge kit from auto zone, Napa or somewhere like that would you suggest, because the nearest MB service is 3 hours away and with our covid19 going on the dealership is closed anyways..

your car in general is too young to have leak or other problems like Lilbenz says but sometimes things go wrong even with brand new equipment.
I had a problem like yours a year or two ago and my problem was the system had too much charge in it. I first thought it was low and bought a134 from car part store and charged it based on the ambient instructions that came with it but things got worse and my fan in front of car was just screaming full speed.
I then started letting the “Freon” out and the system started working again.
I even repeated this again as it would not make sense that charge needs to be lower than in general and the result was the same.
Does AC clutch come on?
any AC codes stored?
Hook up hi/lo pressure gages (if you know what you are doing here) check.
etc etc
Could be one of many things.

This is the best troubleshooting procedure. Written for older models, where you could access sensors on car display, while W212 need a scanner.
Follow the procedure in comments and if you can't interpret the numbers, post them here.
